The EU’s dependence on critical raw materials is a major concern. The continent remains exposed to raw material disruptions that might hinder the evolution of the industry in the EU. In this session, we will analyse the challenges and the necessity of securing the supply of raw materials to allow European businesses to benefit from the growing market for battery cells, which is expected to reach €360 billion globally in 2030.
