New propulsion technologies are helping to improve the efficiency of sustainable mobility and contribute to achieve global decarbonisation. This presentation will focus on the latest trends in battery electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles and hydrogen combustion vehicles. The advantages and disadvantages of each technology, as well as the current regulations in each field. How automotive makers are investing in these technologies and adapting their production lines to meet increasingly stringent emissions regulations would also be presented. In addition, the challenges and opportunities facing automotive in the transition to these propulsion technologies will be discussed, including the costs involved in developing these technologies.
