When the European Green Deal was announced in 2019, batteries were considered one of the cornerstone technologies for achieving a climate neutral society by 2050. This session will explore the emerging technologies and innovations in the design and manufacture of batteries, the latest trends and forecasts for the growth of electric vehicles (EVs) and energy storage systems, and the role of government policy and regulations in the adoption of electrified transportation, promoting energy storage systems and fostering innovation.
