The first three-point seatbelt was sold by Volvo in 1959. From that point, electronics and software have been increasing inside the vehicle for security, comfort, infotainment and safety. Nowadays, Advanced Driver Assistant Systems (ADAS), a group of different services and technologies, are being extended along all automotive marked improving the user experience, helping the driver in different scenarios with the aim of prevent deaths and injuries and following the roadmap to autonomous driving. We will talk about the latest European regulation, it’s technologic milestones and challenges.
